California ETEC was established in 2003 to exclusively promote the attraction of international students to the United States and expand the export of education services globally. CA ETEC’s unique positioning as the 1st education consortium exclusively focused on overseas student recruitment and collaborative partnerships with key U.S. and foreign governments and extensive reach in Asia and the Middle East offers education providers cost-effective resources to expand student recruitment activities and formulate global delivery strategies. What’s more, CA ETEC has developed a strong track record conceptualizing and implementing government training projects funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of State, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Royal Commission Ai-Ula, and Vietnam Government.
ETEC announces cooperation with U.S. Department of Commerce to
establish an in-country office to market U.S. Higher Education
and Training in Vietnam.

CA ETEC’s high-impact efforts have been acknowledged by the Obama Administration, President E Award( 2011) and Presidential E-Star Award ( May 2016), State of California, and U.S. Congressional Citation.

California ETEC/ETEC Global was among the first state based education consortium in the United States and designated by NAFSA and U.S. Department Commerce as a go-to internationalization resource
CA ETEC established a partner office in Beijing,
China in 2009. ETEC has helped facilitate in-country
delivery programs-2+2, foundation programs and pre-college
school program(College Pathway Program) and recruited more
5,000 students for U.S. schools.

CA ETEC in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, opened the first U.S. operated education center in HCMC, Vietnam, April 2013. The Vietnam Education and Training Center or VETEC has facilitated exchange and recruitment for more than 100 U.S. schools.
